South Downs Way 100-Miles

It’s that time once again to pin the bib, tie the shoes and toe the start line. This time the challenge that lays before myself and 499 other runners is 100-miles of hilly trail connecting Winchester to Eastbourne along the spectacularly stunning South Downs Way.

There will be highs to enjoy and lows to endure, but every step and smile filled with gratitude; truly appreciating what a privilege it is to be able to take on a challenge of this magnitude.

If you’d like to follow my progress in real time you can do so by popping over to the Live Tracker website and typing in either my name or bib number 375.

Last time we had GPS tracking, many of you thought I had fallen off the side of a mountain in Snowdonia. Hopefully on this occasion, the tracker will have no faults - fingers crossed.

The race begins at 5am tomorrow morning and I eagerly await what is in store over the next 24+ hours of running these glorious trails; as the latest chapter of the smilinggg story is written.
