Overcoming a challenging week...


When we think of motivation, we often think of New Years. Those resolutions seem so easy for the first 2-3 weeks... The gym’s are full, people are motivated and on course to crush their goals. Then what happens? Motivation wains.

This past week was the first week during The Road to Smilinggg Everest Challenge prep in which my motivation has been replaced by its arch nemesis.... resistance.

Join me for the entire week of training and more importantly, my thoughts during some key training sessions and around the topic of motivation and how to stay on track, when the inevitable motivation drops.

I appreciate this Episode is long, but I do hope it has greater value.

Steps + Smiles

The Smilinggg Everest Challenge takes place on Thursday 10th October 2019 in Isenhurst Gym, Crowborough and is scheduled on this day to coincide with World Mental Health Day.

I will be attempting to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest on a stairclimber (a little under 2,400 floors).

As part of Smilinggg I will be fundraising for Samaritans. The fundraising page will open in a couple of weeks time.
