I wasnβt sure how my body would respond, 6-days post Paddock Wood Half-Marathon and following the midweek trip up north, but I found my groove early on, stuck with it and hung on to finish in 03:54:22 and with that securing a top-6 finish. π
Iβm delighted to say the very least. Thanks as always to the race organisers @endurancelife, the volunteers marshalling the various checkpoints and congratulations to all fellow runners. π€
Iβm now going to take a week off from running before a 3 or 4 week build into the next race on the Smilinggg calendar, the @ultrachallenges Isle of Wight 106km, the back end of April. Similar weather for that one please.π€
