Endurance Life : Sussex Marathon : Coastal Trail Series :

With the sky so blue and the sun with its hat on throughout, it’s only right that I let the devilish head wind off on this occasion. πŸ™

26.5-miles. 4,951 ft elevation gain and loss. A beautifully brutal morning in Eastbourne. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I wasn’t sure how my body would respond, 6-days post Paddock Wood Half-Marathon and following the midweek trip up north, but I found my groove early on, stuck with it and hung on to finish in 03:54:22 and with that securing a top-6 finish. πŸ…

I’m delighted to say the very least. Thanks as always to the race organisers @endurancelife, the volunteers marshalling the various checkpoints and congratulations to all fellow runners. 🀝

I’m now going to take a week off from running before a 3 or 4 week build into the next race on the Smilinggg calendar, the @ultrachallenges Isle of Wight 106km, the back end of April. Similar weather for that one please.🀞

Steps πŸ‘£ + Smiles πŸ€—

Keep #Smilinggg πŸ’› and in the words of Endurance Life… Never Give Up πŸ’ͺ🏼
