24 Hours of Smilinggg : World Mental Health Day 2020

It’s been 357 days since summiting Smilinggg Everest for World Mental Health Day 2019, and with huge thanks to you and your generosity, we raised £4,313.38 for Samaritans to help those in their darkest hour.

With this years World Mental Health Day just 9 days away, it seems even more important than ever that we as a collective shine some Smilinggg light on the darkness of 2020.

Wherever you are in the World right now, please join me on Saturday 10th October 2020 for as many Smilinggg Miles as you can muster.

You’ll find me at Crowborough Running Track from the stroke of midnight on Saturday 10th October until the clock hits midnight on Sunday 11th October, for 24 uninterrupted hours of Smilinggg.

Every second of this years World Mental Health Day will be spent circling the 400m track in an effort to cover as greater distance as possible.

‘24 Hours of Smilinggg’ is this years Samaritans Charity Fundraiser and will most definitely be my toughest one-day event yet!

I fully appreciate times are challenging right now for us all, but every £1 donated is appreciated beyond words and helps Samaritans not only save lives through their free phone listening service, but also providing workplace training to help people take better care of their mental health at work, and also to support their campaign for more investment in national and local suicide prevention.

Thank you for your support.
